We wife included a bottle of aged Appleton Estate in my Easter basket (Gawd I love that woman)... my question is this:

Please do not lambast me for my ignorance, but Appleton is listed as a DARK rum. To me, it's a medium (based entirely on color). If you were to make a Mai Tai formula (like The Hawaiian Village version) that called for: light, med & dark rum... what would Appleton be considered?
