Kind of like the Peter Jennings of Canadian news. My boyfriend said I should go ask him to sign my chest, but I'm a big chicken. Then a few days ago I had a totally surrealistic encounter with another Canadian anchorman. I was going to the library (of all places) but when I got there it was surrounded by a crowd of phony-looking extras & Jason Priestly was being filmed talking on a cel phone outside. I watched for a few minutes and then, as I was going into the library, CBC anchorman Ian Hanomansingh (Kind of like the Brian Williams of Canadian News) was coming out and held the door for me. I did a double take, but the earpiece dangling down behind his neck confimed it. So I saw two celebreties in two totally un-related situations within about 20 seconds of each other. And one of them held the door for me.
