I say a Friday night is as good as a Saturday night, and if it's scheduled near another Saturday night tiki event, that's two consecutive days of tiki goodness!

I say move it to January or later, I know it's really supposed to be an ART SHOW and not so much a craft bazzar so nobody will mind if they're not selling anything before Xmas right? It's not like we'd be buying stuff for our non-tiki friends and family anyway. It's always stuff for ourselves and after Xmas I will have more money for myself. Winter lasts into March so I vote for the show to be sometime after December 25th and before March 20th.

Anybody got a problem with that? :evil:

And it should be in San Diego. :wink: :P

Saturday or Sunday would be great, Grog, but please don't have it on Friday the 18th. We've already got our tickets for the Los Straitjackets X-Mas Show for that night.

I like Crazy Al's suggestion of a Sunday Happy Hour type bash.

January might be a good idea. GROG have to discuss that with Tonga Hut.

GROG also like the Sunday early Happy Hour idea.

I say January is the better idea. Just too many things happening before Christmas this year.

All considered dates are still good for me.

Now with Southwest serving my airport, the flight is a breeze!

January even sounds interesting as we'll be well frozen in by then.
Would be nice to thaw out in LA for a few days.

Either way, I'll be happy to bring a collection of brand new work out to the West Coast!

GROG liking the January idea more and more.

If we can settle on a date for the art show, these are a few things GROG hope to have for the show. GROG planning on making molds of these. JavaBob is a coffe cup and GROG going to do limited edition run. GROG not sure yet how many GROG make of JavaBob, or how much it will cost. The moais are Salt and Pepper shakers. GROG hope to do large edition or open edition of those. GROG not know how much they cost until GROG get them into production.

That all information GROG have right now, so don't send GROG a bunch of PM's asking questions, because GROG not know any more than what GROG have posted.

I like the Sunday idea with the cookie chaser. Either the 6th or the 13th. And everyone brings cookies. And art to sell. Or art that tastes like cookies. Whatever. I'm there, if it's on one of those Sundays. By the way, I've missed you, Grog. I've missed everyone lately. Work has kept this chiquita off the social radar for a while. But I look forward to seeing you soon.

And Crazy Al... is there a Mammoth Tiki party in January? I read about the one that might happen more locally. Let me know. I ski in Mammoth and don't want to miss this!
